Legion of the Dead plot

William and Luke have just started their journey through the California desert when a psychopathic killer crosses their path. To escape the murderous madman, William and Luke flee to a small desert town. But they're even worse off there. A mysterious, tree-tall blond man and his sadistic accomplices are just there busy killing the entire town in order to create the 'legion of the dead'.

A lot of copycatting by Ittenbach, but ultimately saved by his trademark gore. From Dusk till Dawn is the perfect inspiration for his splatter skills. Unfortunately, it doesn't quite come into its own when you compare it to his cult gems such as Black Past and Burning Moon, but nevertheless his exploding heads and gushing flesh wounds remain of a brilliant caliber. Despite the many teething problems, I really enjoyed it!
