Fallen plot
"A prophecy. A destiny. A fallen angel."
When Aaron (Paul Wesley) turns 18, he realizes he's no ordinary boy. No one else his age has the strange abilities that he does. He can suddenly talk to his dog Gabriel, but also to other animals. Obviously, Aaron is a Nephilim, half human, half angel. He is tasked with protecting himself and his family from the Powers, the evil angels sent to Earth to eliminate the "failed." Aaron befriends Ezekiel, an eccentric but good-natured fallen "angel" and Camael (Rick Worthy), the former leader of the Powers. They make it clear to him that Aaron is the Redeemer, the one who can send the fallen angels back to heaven.
