Indeed, it is very reminiscent of the above-mentioned film. Exciting story, intense too. 3 beautiful stars.

A film that is very similar to “Invasion of the body snatchers”. It falls exactly between the two films of 1956 and 1978. The film takes place in one place, a holiday resort where the Fielding family comes to relax. The events therefore only take place there and do not (yet) create a crisis at national or world level.

I did find it strange that people remained very calm for a long time even though they already knew that strange things were happening. They looked like ghostly apparitions, also with that stoic emotionless look. However, there are no explanations. It just happens. The link with Mars that is suggested is far-fetched and does not really serve a purpose.

Great ending indeed, which is also frightening. I like such psychological dystopian ideas.
