Laura is a 25-year-old single journalist who lives in a small apartment in Mexico City. After a series of short-lived relationships, she meets Arturo. When they first go to bed, Arturo hits her in a way that overwhelms her. Thus begins an intense, passionate and sexual romance in which pleasure, pain and love alternate. After a while, however, Laura's secret past comes to the surface, pushing Arturo to his limits.
