First vote then!

Still, a Chia-Liang Liu film starring Gordon Liu. He doesn't really have a starring role, and he spends half the film doing little more than hopping around, but those two names alone should be enough to attract a wider audience.

A film that doesn't really emphasize the martial arts, but rather the vampire element. Unfortunately, it sometimes drags a bit too much (there's a slight dip halfway through), but otherwise it's a funny touch.

The martial arts are decent at the end, but they never really get spectacular. It's also odd that there's no real Shaw Bros. ending to this film. There's a short scene at the end that further emphasizes the film's more comedic undertone.

Quite enjoyable and entertaining, though it does have all the typical Shaw Bros. problems. Great for fans, less so for Shaw Bros. passers-by.

2.5*

The prequel to Encounters of the Spooky Kind and Mr. Vampire.

Master Lau Kar-wing and his apprentice are corpse herders. Using black magic, they control the hopping vampires and guide them to their final resting place. One of them is Gordon Liu, who fakes his death, leading to several hilarious scenes. His motives are only revealed towards the end of the film. However, it is hinted that he possesses the deadly Eagle Claw.

Lots of familiar faces from the Shaw universe. The fights are sparse, but nicely done in vampire style.
