Shinde mo Ii plot

The timid Makato Hirano spends his days aimlessly in a small, drab town in Japan. One day he meets a young woman, Nami, at the station. He follows her and thus arrives at her husband's real estate office. A vacancy has just become available there and if he applies, he will get the job. It soon becomes clear that Makato is not interested in the work, nor is he as shy as he initially seemed. Nami develops feelings for Makato and finds herself in a difficult position.
