"She saw the killer's face, but it keeps changing..."
Anna Marchant (Milla Jovovich) is an elementary school teacher. She is attacked by a serial killer known as 'Tearjerk Jack'. She survives the attack, but is left with the neurological abnormality of prosopagnosia, which means she can no longer recognize faces. She is now dependent on recognizing the voice of the other. Together with the detective Kerrest she tries to find out the identity of her attacker. Meanwhile, the killer is determined to get rid of Anna, a potential witness...
