Stonehenge Apocalypse plot
When a group of archaeologists set out to excavate a human skeleton next to the historic landmark of Stonehenge, part of an ancient machine is discovered beneath the stones. They don't know what it is, but accidentally activate the device anyway. They thus start a series of events that could well mean the end of the world as we know it.

Very mediocre sf film with special effects that are really no longer possible in 2010, the acting was okay, but again the special effects ruin the film.

Watched today on blu-ray!
It is a surprising film that I have not seen before, a kind of adventure film in combination with a disaster film, although there is no real disaster in it.
We only see a bit of 90s SF. radiations that threaten various parts of the world with a disaster, the disaster itself you see briefly but sometimes only on the news.
Meanwhile, a news reporter is looking for a kind of key together with another woman, there he also meets one of his ex-colleagues who wants to purify the world just the opposite.
Quite a separate film, but it didn't get really good anywhere except about 15 minutes before the end, it got exciting when they were counting down and sees a confrontation between the reporter and the ex-colleague and the action that goes with it come see.
Thanks to the reasonably strong cast, I thought it was just enough, even though this film could have been a 'The Asylum' production.
