Just seen it for the third or fourth time, and it definitely doesn't lose its power. Wonderful opening scene. Lurid, gory and backed up with that great soundtrack. Sets the tone for the rest of the movie. Everything is nice and atmospheric, and Ikeda (who apparently committed suicide in 2010, at the age of 59) serves you one cool sequence after another. Both that death scene with those iron 'spikes' and the one with the girl who is completely pulled over that car in one shot are excellently filmed and executed. And he also knows how to make the killer himself appear on the screen several times.

I personally find the last +- 30 minutes the least. Then it's a bit too much as far as I'm concerned. Would have liked it better if it had stayed with a slasher, but the last half hour also has its charm (that related corpse that gets up again )

It's a pity that Ikeda never really made horror films like this again. He definitely had talent for it.

Annoying.

Film was recommended to me for a movie game one day, so walking around it is a difficult task that way. I had never heard of the film, although it apparently attracted an audience. Not much audience, it remains a B-movie, but as far as I'm concerned, larger numbers than it deserves.

As far as I'm concerned, the points mainly go towards some creative ideas and effects, which make it look a bit more special. I didn't know what it was all about, but I can still appreciate the fact that they have a lot of effects. That's where the positive ends right away. It is quite a task to get through this film normally.

I know that after the counter had struck for 30 minutes I slowly started to hope that the nonsense would end someday. It turned out that I only had 75 minutes left, which barely raised the level. The biggest disturbing factor in this is the acting. I continue to find it amazing to see how these films repeatedly manage to make every character look retarded.

In the end there is little to remember except for some unique scenes, because I prefer to forget the rest as quickly as possible. Both in terms of quality and content, it is all just a plate of grease. Separate images that are connected to each other with a thin string. Nice to see for about 30 minutes, but 105 minutes is way too much of a good thing. Very exhausting task, seemed to end nowhere. So can't give it a good rating.

Apparently not yet seen or it was very far away. I'm going to fall straight to the point, I definitely expected more from it. However, I think it starts very nicely, but where you expect a fatter progression, it gets stuck and it is just too subpar across the board and it certainly does not belong to the better B-horror. There's certainly still enough in it that I managed to enjoy myself with, also just pretty funny, it's not a total flop fzo either. That ending was like, owkéé this came a long way I'm going to stick to a 5/10, just enough.
