"She's the hottest thing on the beach. She's also his best friend's daughter!"
Businessman Matthew Hollis travels to Rio for work with a close friend. They took their two daughters with them for the occasion. His friend immediately dives into the nightlife in search of a Lambada mate, leaving Hollis behind. Problems arise when it turns out that his friend's daughter is rather oversexed and constantly tries to seduce him. He soon gives in and has a fierce romance with the daughter. Not only is this illegal because she is still a minor, but her father also finds out about it.

Largely because of Michael Caine it has become an easy to watch film, in the case of Michelle Johnson it is more eye candy than spectacular acting performances, but I was quite at peace with that.. 
The woven together ending wasn't particularly necessary in my opinion, maybe an open ending would have been better and more fun? I understand that the original from France did opt for this approach.
Rio is a very beautiful film location and certainly works to its advantage with this film, because of the beautiful warm locations the whole thing has a bit of a sultry atmosphere.
Nice little movie for in between, not particularly special or earth-shattering but you could certainly do worse.

Nice romantic comedy in which an older man is seduced by a beautiful sexy young woman who is also the daughter of his best friend. Comical situations follow each other quickly. It is presented very light-heartedly and the beautiful location in Rio is a strong asset. The theme is also quite interesting because a second life after a burned-out marriage seems great in itself but also very fleeting and fragile given the young dreamy woman who is still looking for herself. Nice roles by Michael Caine and Joseph Bologna. Michelle Johnson plays the fiery sexy daughter who is also seen naked here. Caine cannot resist the temptation. The twist could have been left out for me. Caine's daughter is played by Demi Moore, but she gets little substance in her role. 6/10

Oh well, I didn't think it was bad. An older man has an affair with his friend's daughter during a trip to Rio... A bit naughty and wrong but never becomes vulgar; the feelings are not made too complicated because in the end the comic game of "I don't want my friend to find out" has to be maintained. Caine is nicer than I expected, and so is the film actually. Thanks to a late twist the film ends on a positive note. Remake of the French film "Un moment d'égarement".
