Alabama Moon plot

"An adventure for the boy in all of us."

Moon (Jimmy Bennett) and his father 'Pap' (JD Evermore) are living the liberal dream, living illegally in the backwoods of troubled Alabama. His father raises Moon with the knowledge to never trust anyone, especially the government. That's all well and good until Dad dies, leaving 11-year-old Moon all alone in the wilderness. Moon then decides to leave on foot for Alaska, the mecca of the liberals.
