The Vigilantes Return plot
"Gun Slinging---THRILLS ALONG THE MONTANA FRONTIER!"
Marshal Johnnie Taggart, masquerading as the outlaw 'Ace' Braddock, heads to lawless Bannack, Montana, to restore law and order. But Taggart is recognized by Kitty, with Clay Curtwright co-owner of the infamous 'Bull Whip' saloon. However, Kitty remains silent about Taggart's true identity. When Taggert's friend Andy reports on a stagecoach robbery, Ben Borden, an accomplice of Clay Curtwright, tells the corrupt sheriff and Judge Holden that Taggert was involved. Taggert informs Holden of his true identity and his assignment. Holden concludes that Clay Curtwright must be behind the stagecoach robbery. However, granddaughter Louise Holden, who is in love with Clay Curtwright, overhears her grandfather's conclusion and informs Clay about Taggart.
