The Kid Ranger plot
Former outlaw Bill Mason lives happily with his adopted daughter Mary. Mason's worst fear is that she will find out that under unavoidable circumstances he had to kill her real father Ben Brokaw. One day, however, Mason's old mobster Steve Brent shows up, who is aware of the situation regarding Mary's real father. Mary is engaged to Texas Ranger Ray Burton. Burton's father Jim is injured in an armed confrontation with the 'El Lobo' gang, of which Steve Brent is now a part. Brent blackmails Mason into helping his outlaw gang, if not, he tells Mary the history about her father Ben Brokaw.
