La Victoire en Chantant plot
Small groups of German and French colonialists are in the Cameroon area. They hear of the outbreak of WWI with months delay. Then they start with clumsy attempts to fight that battle on their own terrain. This is mainly to the surprise of 'their' Africans, who watch the colonialists and react mockingly.
