"Why did Emily call Charlie the most immoral man she'd ever met?"
A naval officer (Garner) is stationed in London during WWII. His main job is to recruit ladies for the entertainment and relaxation of his superiors. He falls for one of the English ladies (Andrews) and a romance develops. As a result of a master plan by an American admiral, he must then become the first accidental victim of the invasion of Normandy.
