I didn't find it realistic, rather predictable, clichéd and uninteresting.

It's a mediocre film with equally mediocre acting. Maybe Ella-June Henrard and also Thomas Ryckewaert, but otherwise not very convincing.
Not very realistic actually. Guess traffickers don't let their prey escape so easily...

Strong Belgian drama about self-prostitution of minors and human trafficking. Beautiful role by Deborah who wants to escape the hopelessness of her poverty-stricken existence by earning a penny through escort work. Before she realizes it, she is more and more under the control of her pimp and she can hardly go back. She is impulsive and naive, although I expected a rougher picture of her boyfriend. Now it remained a little too superficial and too well-behaved.
Strong ending also somewhere in the Saarland, a flight presumably saving her life, probably never knowing what happened to the other two. Intrusive confrontation with her grandfather also in the youth institution. It is a pity that the bond or escalation with her mother was not explored enough in depth.
Not a topper, but certainly nice to see from Flemish soil. Good atmosphere setting, well acted, but it could have been a bit more intense and raw to emphasize the seriousness.
