During a long train ride to northern Japan, a young man approaches an elderly woman and offers her lunch. The woman is accompanied by an elderly lady, who seems to be watching her. The young man becomes intrigued by the woman, who does not want to reveal anything about herself. She has a secret that she wants to keep hidden, just like the young man himself.
