Three-Cornered Moon plot

"There are five kinds of saps on the Remplegar family tree and every branch grows a nut!"

Nellie Rimplegar must tell her grown children that her failed financial dealings have wiped out the family's wealth completely in the stock market crash. Friend and family doctor, Alan Stevens, tells them that they should all give up their extravagant way of life and look for a job. Stevens also rents a room in their house, supposedly to help them with their finances, but actually it's to be more close to the beautiful Elizabeth Rimplegar. Stevens, however, faces competition from the beautiful Ronald, a writer who is still oblivious to her financial woes.

De rijke Mevrouw Rimpleger en haar vier kinderen leven in Brooklyn een society leventje..Todat ze hun geld verliezen bij de beurscrash van 1929.

Ze gaan op zoek naar een baan met alle gevolgen van dien.

Aardige komedie met goede acteurs. Hier en daar wel een beetje te veel hysterisch.

Nice, but somewhat hysterical comedy.
