"Touring makes you crazy," Zappa says, explaining that the idea for this film came while he was touring with "the Mothers of Invention." The story, interspersed with performances by the 'Mothers' together with 'the Royal Symphony Orchestra', is a story of life on the road. The main concern of the band members is the search for groupies and the desire to get paid.
