The Thirteenth Hour plot

"MURDER as a one-way highway...to the gallows!"

Steve Reynolds, owner of a transportation company, gets involved in an argument with a rival company. Not long after, Steve is slammed to the ground by a masked assailant, who steals the truck he was driving. The attacker then drives Steve's truck over a police officer and leaves other clues that indicate that Steve is the culprit. Steve, on the other hand, only has a glove, which is trimmed with diamonds, as a clue to his masked attacker. While Steve tries to evade the police, he uses his only clue to find the real culprit to clear his name.

This time Richard Dix is the good guy in a story about a man who owns a transport company but is thwarted by a competitor.
