Gojuman-nin no Isan plot
During World War II, Takeichi Matsuo helped to hide a significant amount of gold in the Philippine mountains. Years later, he is kidnapped by Mitsura and Keigo Gunji, two brothers who want Takeichi to take them to the still-buried gold. Takeichi is haunted by the memories of half a million Japanese who died in the Philippines. He therefore wants to make sure that the gold ends up in the hands of the Japanese people. However, the Gunji brothers have other plans for the gold.
