Koina no Ginpei: Yuki no Wataridori plot

The samurai Ginpei (Tsumasaburo Bando) is in love with Oichi, the daughter of a local innkeeper and ex-gang member Gohei. However, she is in love with his best friend, which fills him with jealousy. The village is about to be attacked by Ushimatsu's gang who want to take over the area. The local gang members gather and confront them, even though they are heavily outnumbered. Ginpei also decides to join the fight, in which Oichi's lover joins, but his motives are more obscure.
