A Stranger in the Kingdom plot
The people of Kingdom - and the Kinneson family - are divided into formal religious conservatives and outlawed farm workers. The outlawed side of the family is led by Resolved and Welcome Kinneson, a pair of eccentric villains. The conservative side of the family is led by hell and damnation preaching Elijah, the brother of Welcome and Resolved. The town's already shaky harmony is broken by the arrival of Rev. Walter Andrews and his son Nat.
