Joi Sun Ho plot

Tony dies in a car accident. His daughter Melody goes blind, but survives the accident, as does his wife. To cheer her mother up, Melody writes a book in which the family dies in the accident, but in which Tony survives the accident. In this book Tony writes to cheer himself up a book in which he dies in an accident, but in which his wife and daughter survive the accident....and so it goes in an endless cycle in which the dead are resurrected in fiction and in which they try to spend no time with their loved ones.
