Das Lied von den Zwei Pferden plot

"Mongolia horse"

Singer Urna Chahar-Tugchi fulfills the promise she once made to her grandmother. She moves to Eastern Mongolia where she has her grandmother's old violin restored. It was destroyed during the Chinese Cultural Revolution and only the head and neck are left. The then famous Mongolian song 'the two horses of Genghis Khan' is written on the neck. Urna also searches for the complete lyrics of the song.
