Bombay's Senior Police Inspector, Samar Singh, tenders his resignation when he learns that Kashinath Trivedi, who is known for his connections to the underworld, is winning the election. This news naturally pleases Trivedi, and certainly his men, including notorious mobster Zafar Supari. But there's a catch, because there are two honest police inspectors who don't seem to admit to the crime and they are inspectors Arjun Ranayat and Hyder Ali, two inseparable friends. Trivedi makes frantic efforts to separate the two buddies with the help of corrupt police officers in the force, in order to gain more power...
