I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with Michael Moore and his work. This documentary is also a propagandistic cut and paste job in which a lot of arguments are lumped together. You have come to the wrong place for an in-depth analysis of capitalism. Still, I found this one significantly stronger than Sicko or Fahrenheit 9-11 because Michael Moorej continues to focus entirely on America. No trips to Canada or Europe to show how bad America is. Here he mentions a number of very disturbing cases in which corporate power is eluding politics and the judiciary.

In addition, those funny montages of, for example, old films that hardly support Moore's story. But the fact remains, of course, that the current financial system is pretty rotten and there is definitely some truth in the examples Moore cites. The story of a company that takes out a life insurance policy without anyone's knowledge and then cashes out was pretty sick to me. As said before, capitalism is being kicked into the ground, but actually this film is not about that at all, it is about the self-enrichment of big companies.

Give America another conscience. This time by examining the financial crisis. Well, there are interesting parts in it, but I think that Moore sometimes jumps too often, and especially his own Flint too often includes in the big picture. Who cares?
Furthermore, the documentary Inside Job (2010) and the film Too Big to Fail (2011) many times better elaborated and more interesting if you want to learn more about this subject.
