Hideko no Shashô-san plot
A good-natured girl works as a conductor in an old dilapidated bus that, unlike a competitor's bus, has few customers. She comes up with the idea to make the ride more pleasant by telling about the environment. A writer passing through, wants to help her and writes a script. Her shady boss doesn't like it, but eventually agrees. Then, when the bus is involved in an accident, he forces her and the driver to lie in order to take money from the insurance.
