Saint John of Las Vegas plot

After a series of unfortunate losses, compulsive gambler John (Steve Buscemi) decides to give up and try to build a 'normal' life. He moves and finds work at an auto insurance company. He sets out with Virgil to track down fraudsters, but he doesn't want to get too close to Las Vegas. John is getting better at his job and his self-confidence is growing again. It becomes increasingly clear that running from his addiction won't solve anything and if he wants to get everything under control, he will have to return to Las Vegas.
