"Once you trip in, there is no way out."
Detective Han, who has secretly been doing the dirty work for corrupt mayor Park Sungbae for years, is pressured by ruthless prosecutor Kim Cha-in to cooperate in an investigation against the mayor. Cornered, Han convinces his young partner Sunmo to take over his job for the mayor, but things don't go as planned. When the Home Office has evidence of his misdeeds, Han is forced to work covertly for both sides, endangering himself twice.
