De Vanger plot

A young woman sits with her brothers at the notary after her father's death. To her surprise, she turns out to inherit the big house - on the condition that she will restore it. The woman hires a carpenter, with whom she falls in love. As soon as he starts building a four-poster bed, it is clear that his stay will last longer than expected. The unusual relational game between the woman and the man eventually leads to the birth of a child. One night the man takes the baby out of the crib and looks at it tenderly. The baby accidentally falls from his hands.
