The Greatest Silence: Rape in the Congo plot

In the Democratic Republic of Congo, women continue to be systematically abducted, tortured and raped. Lisa Jackson, herself a victim of a gang rape, investigates. Rape is still a big taboo in Congo. Most raped girls do not find a husband and many are rejected by their families. That is why they are silent, also about possible infection with HIV/AIDS. Meanwhile, the perpetrators, militia and gang members, almost always get away with their atrocities. The women talk to Jackson about what happened to them.
