David, a gay performer and hustler, and Alicia, a video artist, are best friends. They share their work, art and love frustrations day and night. The waitress at the late night diner supplies them with caffeine and hamburgers in way too soft sandwiches every day. At a good moment they meet Craig. A former actor and photographer who has doubts about both his career and his sexual orientation. He moves in with Alicia but is attracted to David. During endless and sleepless Los Angeles nights and dinners, they embark on a quest without purpose, as their love triangle puts their friendship and sexuality to the test.
