Valborgsmässoafton plot
Lena Bergström is secretly in love with her boss, Johan Borg, and therefore resigns. She has to, because she's a neat girl and Borg is married. But that same Borg plans to divorce his wife Clary, and then marry Lena. Clary has just had an abortion and is forced by blackmail to tell her husband. Borg promises his wife that he will help her before he leaves her for good. During a brawl between Borg and the man who is blackmailing Clary, she saves her husband's life by shooting the blackmailer. In retrospect, however, all indications seem to indicate that not she but Borg is the culprit...
