Hafners Paradies plot

The paradise of Paul Maria Hafner is located in Spain. There the SS man fled after the capitulation of the Third Reich. And there he still lives, 83 years old, undisturbed and shielded in his hidden Nazi world. The Austrian producer and director Günter Schwaiger found Hafner in his search for the former Nazis in hiding. He confronts him with photos of, among other things, murdered prisoners in the concentration camp Häftlinge, and stages a conversation with the camp survivor Hans Landauer. But in front of the running camera, Hafner denies the Holocaust and even demonstrates the Nazi salute.
