The Cove plot

"Shallow Water. Deep Secret."

Since TV hero Flipper, dolphins have been popular and loved by the general public. The town of Taijii in Japan is home to the largest supplier of dolphins in the world, but no one knows or gains access to what is actually happening in that dolphin bay. I think it's such a movie that one should see and make more

so that the world does not remain blind !

this is also the movie that made me vegetarian!

not because I ate dolphin.. :') but it made me think about how I think about other animals.

so the day from the film, never having eaten meat or fish again.

a good example of how gripping the film can be!

I find that comment of lala 83 very hypocritical!

100 pigs for 1 dolphin.. why? because that 1 dolphin looks nicer?

Who in the Middle Ages cried that the sun did not revolve around the earth, but that the earth around the sun could end up at the stake. Only recently have we slowly begun to realize Homo sapiens that not everything revolves around us either.

Watched this documentary in horror in which atrocities are brought to light that you should be ashamed of as a human being!

4 stars from Ebbie!

Like 'Blackfish', this is also an excellent documentary. After having seen them both, I think I prefer this 'The Cove' over the first one. Okay, this print obviously plays on the sentiment, but it works. Very impressive and especially terrible what the fate of thousands of dolphins is there in that disgusting cove in Taijii. They should immediately kill those people who are responsible for this.

The structure of this documentary creates tension and emotion. Sure it's easy to score with horrific images of dolphins being killed hard, but it really does happen and that's why this did something to me. As a viewer you are actually only pushed in 1 direction, but I don't care. If only they had stayed away from the dolphins. I also take the Ocean's Eleven thing for granted.
