We follow three animal families including a mother panda and her little one, a two-year-old golden meerkat who feels displaced by his newborn sister and joins a group of free-spirited outcasts. Finally, a mother snow leopard who has to raise her two cubs in one of the most harsh and unforgiving environments on Earth. The animals are among the endangered species in China and their habitats range from icy mountains to the bamboo forest.
