Kavkazskiy Plennik plot

"An extraordinary story of hope, courage and humanity."

Vanya, a recruit in the Russian army, leaves for the Caucasus to fight against Islamist separists. His part is ambushed. He and his sergeant are captured and kept alive because the village elder exchanges their will for his son. However, the Russian commander refuses. When the sergeant tries to escape, the villagers insist that both prisoners be executed.
