Mystery in Mexico plot

"Tropic Night... Steeped in Terror!"

American insurance inspector Steve Hastings is sent to Mexico City to track down his missing colleague Ames. Nightclub singer and sister of Ames, Victoria Ames, is also concerned about her missing brother and she joins Steve's search. Steve and Victoria soon face a murder and kidnapping. All clues seem to lead to a band of jewel thieves.
