Zach and Ben have been best friends since elementary school. Both are very different but in many ways the same. Now in their 20s, they are still good friends but due to different choices in their lives, they have lost touch with each other. Zach learns that Ben has been in love with Heather for years, who disappeared into the woods to save the environment and has been missing ever since. Zach persuades Ben to track down Heather, and along with Heather's cousin Nigel, they head up the river in search of Heather and rekindle their friendships.
