Hair India plot

An Indian girl sacrifices her hair in a Hindu temple to pay for her brother's eye surgery. Huge piles of hair are processed and traded in a studio, only to end up in salons all over the world, where rich people have extensions fitted. The parallel montage of two worlds raises questions about ideals of beauty and globalization.
