Jûsan-nin no Shikaku plot
"A group of assassins come together for a suicide mission to kill an evil lord."
Thirteen samurai receive a confidential order from the board of the Tokugawa shogunate. The assignment is to kill Matsudaira Nariaki, the cruel leader of the Akashi clan. The group has 60 days to achieve their goal. They must ambush the Akashi procession on their way back from Edo. They only get one chance and have no room to fail. How can they distract the 53 men of the Akashi clan and kill Nariaki?
