Das Feuerschiff plot

During its last working period, the 'Feuerschiff' (light tower ship) takes on board three people, who float helplessly in a boat in the water. It soon becomes clear that it is about criminals who take the always moored ship in their power by force. Captain Freytag peacefully tries to avoid conflict and in so doing turns his crew and his son against him. When the leader of the gang of gangsters wants the anchor to be lifted, Freytag is forced to resort to other and harder means.
