Smilin' Through plot
On the day Moonyeen is to marry John Carteret, her ex-boyfriend Jeremiah Wayne takes her own life. John becomes a bitter man who dedicates his life to raising his cousin Kathleen. Once grown up, she falls in love with Jeremiah's cousin Kenneth. John is against their relationship and does everything he can to thwart them.
