"Who owns poverty?"

Episode 3 – 'Enjoy Poverty' probes the emotional and economic value of Africa's most lucrative export commodity: filmed poverty. As is the case for the more traditional African exports – cocoa, gold – suppliers are not getting any better from their new African merchandise. Deep in the Congolese interior, the Dutch artist Renzo Martens launched an awareness program to raise awareness among the poor that poverty is the main resource they can cash in on.
