"It's a kind of magic."

But since his victory in the previous film, there are no more Immortals and as a result, he has now become mortal himself. Once MacLeod has become an old man, a group of Immortals suddenly appear. They appear to be from another planet.

After all the bad things I'd heard about this movie, it wasn't too bad for me. Watched as a separate film, it all shows. But all the contradictions, mistakes etc. to the original make the film very mediocre. Nice sets by the way. 2/5

Director's Cut.

This movie is a "mess". About the concept of immortality and mortality, the authors went wrong and didn't know how to explain it all. I can't even explain the resurrection of Ramirez (Connery). And suddenly the medieval man McLeod becomes a renowned scientist and eco-warrior who helps develop a shield against UV radiation. wow! Only then they hadn't even provided a switch to put the shield back on I could list a whole list of nonsense, but judge for yourself.

This eclectic stew of science-fiction, action, fantasy is a total bust. The first movie wasn't the best, but this one beats everything. Moreover, the film also lacks any style or atmosphere that is visually appealing. Add in a non-actor like Lambert (who tries so hard with his squeaky voice) and indeed… you have a damn bad movie.

I really can't say much good about this. Michael Ironside shines, Christopher Lambert too, but he couldn't get any better, Sean Connery grins thinking about his paycheck, and Virginia Madsen is mostly beautiful. The FX ranges from pretty good (the dystopian setting, the crazy subway ride) to pretty ugly (that red sky), and Connery is always fun to watch, but the story definitely doesn't appeal to me. and Lambert cannot carry this film any further. I expected the most from those two murderers with porcupine hair, but their presence is unfortunately too short. I don't think the film is as bad as many people here, but the average rating is right in my opinion.
