Rogues' Regiment plot
"Last outpost of adventure ! Where men leave to fight and fight to leave !"
After the end of World War II, many former soldiers join the French Foreign Legion in Saigon, Vietnam. Among them are the American Whit Corbett, an ex-officer of the Secret Service and the German Carl Reicher, an ex-officer of the 'Wehrmacht'. Reicher is suspected to be the wanted former SS man and war criminal Martin Bruner. Whit is supported by the attractive nightclub singer Lili Maubert and the art dealer Mark van Ratten in his quest to discover Reicher's true identity.
