Quo Vado? plot
Checco has a relatively comfortable life in a small village in the south of Italy. He has a steady job as a civil servant. When the reformist government decides to cut back on bureaucracy, Checco is forced to accept worse and worse jobs in order to maintain work and pay. dr. Sironi, a representative of the new government, is charged with the reduction of staff. She has her sights set on Checco and sends him to an Italian research station in the North Pole.
