Asbe Du-pa plot
In a remote region of Afghanistan, children live in acute poverty in a maze of abandoned sewer pipes. A father goes in search of someone to look after his severely handicapped son, a boy who cannot walk. Guiah, one of the penniless children, is willingly hired to carry the boy on his back like a horse. Mobile for the first time in years, the boy sees an opportunity to use Guiah for his own purposes and soon Guiah is given many more tasks from his new master. That leads to an ever-growing sadomasochistic relationship between the two, which gradually becomes more disturbing as well. Guiah is both literally and figuratively treated like an animal, humiliated and abused.
