"MOVIE MAKER ON THE SPOT!"
American filmmaker Reginald 'Reggie' Wilson, who has emigrated to Britain, sees his hard work building a new career there undone when someone, claiming to be his former mistress, sends him threatening letters. These sudden threats can ruin not only his future, but also his marriage. Reggie does not want his employer Ben Case to find out about the blackmail and he travels with his wife Lesley to Newcastle, from where the threatening letters are sent. However, the film-maker does not recognize the mistress, but his wife is convinced after all the intimate information and leaves. Reggie, meanwhile, doubts his sanity.

a nice suspense drama but I found the plot a bit far-fetched, Basemart plays well and I don't really like Mary Murphy as an actress but she is more than worth watching.
